Did Sting sometimes in past played (if only for one single show) with group called Vandenberg?
G’day Kinga, Thank you for your question. There was a group called Vandenberg in the early 1980’s led by Dutch guitarist Adrian Vandenberg. Their first single “Burning Heart” reached the US Top 40 in 1983 and was recorded in Jimmy Page’s studio. They opened for Kiss and Ozzy Osborne. Subsequent albums failed to achieve the same success and they folded after Vandenberg joined Whitesnake in 1987. They got back together in 2004 to release a double CD called Definitive Vandenberg and a live DVD the next year. As far as I know, they have never worked with Sting or the Police as they were in different genres. I have attached sources for your reference.
