I’m very glad you’ve posted this question and given these web links. I shall defer judgement till I’ve looked at them (which is only fair and reasonable), but I have a sneaky suspicion that you and I are in opposing camps on this subject! I would say that God is neither male nor female, and that would apply also to the Holy Spirit. I don’t think this has anything to do with gender or human attributes. The Word, the Logos, Wisdom, I AM, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit were all around at the time of creation. Sophia is a pagan goddess.
