Dorothy King, PhDiva, is blogging about Adrian Goldsworthy’s new book, The Fall of the West. I haven’t seen it yet, but people who have speak highly of it. King says that Goldsworthy addresses the issue of what Roman soldiers wore, using visual evidence from a fresco, a mosaic, and an illustration for a 5th century Vergil.
