Did Rick Warren do a good job or not?
Rick Warren did a great job. He not only prayed in the name of Jesus, but he used every language name for Jesus so even the Muslims knew who he was speaking about. He even mentioned Jesus, who taught us to pray the Lord’s Prayer. I specifically liked where he said “And may we never forget that one day all nations and all people will stand accountable before you.” He clearly said every person would stand accountable to Almighty God. He said, “When we focus on ourselves, when we fight each other, when we forget you, forgive us.” This is a nation forgetting their God and we are suffering the consequences of it. His prayer was written for every educational group to understand and this is the day to speak in plain English to America. This he did. He even mentioned civility in our attitudes when we differ and this is required today in America because we have just seen a punishing verbal blow to our last President.
