Did radiologist assistant educators have input in designing the ARRT R.R.A. certification program?
ASRT organized the educational programs into the Radiologist Assistant Educational Council (RAEC) to encourage collaboration. ARRT now co-hosts RAEC along with ASRT. ARRT participates in their meetings, provides information on the certification project, and gathers feedback from the educators on the standards.. The ARRT R.R.A. Advisory Committee that drafted the initial certification standards included two radiologist assistant educators. RAEC continues to meet and provide input to ARRT and ASRT.
