Dancermegz, good question. He was instrumental in having “Hoover Dam” built – this provided many needed jobs to the American Southwest that people soon forget. He also was instrumental in negotiating the Colorado River Compact – as important to the Southwest of Water as is the Declaration of Independence for the Nation as a whole – or U.S. Constitution for Civil Liberties and Rights.
