The Washington Post reports today that in her remarks at a troop deployment that included her son at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Palin said the U.S. would “defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans.” The story points out that even the Bush Administration has dropped this analysis.
