Did other researchers predict that an increased number of breast cancer cases would result from abortion?
Yes. The increased number of U.S. cases reported in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute (above) is consistent with the increase that was predicted by Baruch College endocrinology professor Joel Brind and his colleagues at Penn State. They authored a scientific review and meta-analysis in 1996. They found that 18 out of 23 studies in the medical literature at that time had reported risk increases for women who had abortions.
