Ans: No. Obama never asked Mazen to resign. Mazen voluntarily resigned his volunteer position as National Coordinator for Arab American Outreach because he didn’t want the campaign to be distracted by hate-mongers and bigots who raised guilt by association claims against him pertaining to an imam from Chicago who has alleged ties to some organizations abroad.
