Did my pregnancy test come out negative or positive?

I took ept…it’s one of the best there will always be a line more pronounced than the other one and I think everyone including myself hesitates to beleive it’s a positive because of this…there are other brands too that have a happy or sad face…look for those…then go to the doctor to make sure again. But by the details you gave I am almost sure you are since you have sex everyday w/o protection.

it is probably negative that is why they tell you not to look at the test after ten minutes because a very faint line can appear and then you think that it is positive and it is not but if you are still worried i would test in a couple days again with your first morning urine and go from there good luck

The positive line is really faint. Is this okay? An HPT tells you exactly one thing: your urine either has detectable pregnancy hormone in it, or it doesn’t. The darkness or lightness of a line doesn’t mean much. Generally speaking, a very light line can mean there is a small amount of hCG in your urine, and a very dark line can mean there is a larger amount of hCG in your urine. This is why you may get a faint positive at 10 DPO but a darker positive at 18 DPO. However, this is not always true. Tests are all different, and even tests in the same box may differ in sensitivity. Comparing light/dark lines will just drive you nuts. If you see a line in the “results” window, you’re preg! Could I have a false positive? Essentially, it is possible, but it’s unlikely. If you get two lines, you’re most likely pregnant. Exceptions: if you have been taking certain fertility meds with hCG, the test may be picking up the hCG from the meds and not an embryo. Also, some tests develop “positive” line

A faint positive is always a positive but most tests say to discard any results after 10 minutes. Your best bet is to go and get another test and wait the full 3 minutes before reading the result and then discard any results after 10 minutes. Try an early response test like EPT or first response.

sounds like an evaporation line, if you leave the test alone and let it set for more than an hour, a negative result will almost always give a positive reading, but its fake. thats why they said not to look at it after 10 minutes, if you are unsure, get another test and take it in the morning.
