Did muslims create a seperate country based on religion (pakistan) because they hate us hindus?
It was not a question of hating or not, actually it was a question of grasping the political power by some persons of both the communities. Muslims, being the ruler before the British, wanted to get hold of the political power in disproportionate to their share of population, whereas Hindu leaders wanted to get hold of power in the name of majority of Hindus. It was the fear factor, which triggered the sentiments among the muslim leaders that they can get hold of the political power only, if they have a separate country. Britishers, before partition, were generally leveraging the differences among the Hindu and Muslim leaders.They promoted this idea of communalism and ultimately it created hatered among both the communities.
