We were encouraged to ASSIST in the effort. I was never asked to donate any money and I didn’t! If people donated money, that’s their business! Same thing for the people that tried to defeat prop 8 – that was their business! Volunteering time is different than donating money. I did volunteer my time. So did MANY OTHER CHURCHES!!!!
