Thursday, former Midvale Police Sgt. John Salazar pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in an incident where he crashed his truck into two parked vehicles while off-duty. Salazar was charged with a Class B Misdemeanor in Holladay City Court for impaired driving, which carried with it a $500 fine, probation and alcohol treatment classes.
