Did Matthew Hayden save his best cricket for the IPL?
Exactly mate you said it all his bad form was in Test Match Cricket where he was doubting himself whether he should hit out or just stay at the crease and he wasnt doing much of either. Also the pressure he had on him with the emergence of Phil Hughes and other batsmen making plenty of runs in domestic Cricket in Aus. I was very disapointed when they dropped him from the one day team and 20/20 as I beleived that he could still make plenty of runs however the selectors thought he was too old and getting too slow for the game, ONCE AGAIN how wrong were the Aussie Selectors!!! Some of the answers are completely wrong, Matthew Hayden could go back to Queensland first game and score a ton without a doubt he has faced quality quicks like Malinga, Sharma, Nannes etc who all can bowl 140+ and has had no problems. Also the comment about Shaun Marsh is wrong he walks back into the Aus 20/20 and ODI however he has been battling Injury mostly hamstron related and came back o early for Aus and did
