Did Kurt Cobain kill himself because of stumach ulcers?
Yeah in a way. But he didn’t have stomache ulcers, his stomache condition was unknown but believed to have stemmed from scoliosis which he had as a child. One of the reasons he started doing heroin was to numb the stomache pains. He even stated in an interview “I might as well live like a junkie because I felt like a junkie everyday” in reference to how bad his stomache hurt. During his last days he was in rehab, but escaped. By then he was losing his passion for music, in the process of divorcing Courtney, was having conflict with his band members and considering quitting the band. His life was basically falling apart. I’m guessing when he was in rehab the grueling withdrawl symptoms combined with the return of his stomache ailment was unbearable. I think the thought of living with his stomache pains again was a deal breaker and that deep down he didnt want to quit doing drugs, and just escaped rehab. By doing that he probably felt like he failed himself and his daughter and just snap
