Did Korean men avoid to marry western women?
I disagree entirely that you can make such huge statements based on their race. No matter what the race, family structures are different family to family. Also what is your definition of Korean? Born in Korea but living in America, what about 2nd generation. People in America who came over from another country often maintain the belief structure from that country. 2nd generation rebels from that belief structure, usually so far as to not even speak the language. 3rd generation goes back to their roots and culture. Japanese people do have a lot of Western beliefs and cultures. They are educated in both Japanese and English. The businesses do a lot of interaction with American businesses. So due to all that, it is natural for the two cultures to feel acceptable with each other. Many Asian cultures want to preserve their heritage though and want their sons to marry a woman of the same culture. I don’t see not wanting to marry someone of a different race as being a racist.
