15 July 2003 | Studio Briefing – Film News | See recent Studio Briefing – Film News news » A spokesman for the syndicated talk show Good Day Live says that Angelina Jolie’s handlers pulled the plug on her interview after about 45 seconds Monday when one of the show’s co-hosts, Dorothy Lucey, asked her a “personal question.” Today’s (Tuesday) New York Post said that color bars appeared on screen after Lucey questioned her about comments she had made about a bisexual relationship last Friday on ABC’s 20/20. The spokesman said that the show’s hosts were not aware of any “no personal questions” stipulation and that GDL would never have booked her under such a condition. A Paramount spokeswoman told the newspaper that she doubted that Jolie or her associates scotched the interview. “We certainly wouldn’t have pulled the plug,” she said.
