Six answers so far, and not one has dealt with your question! Does the Wt.Soc teach that Jesus was resurrected as the archangel Michael? For a start, they teach that Jesus was NOT resurrected. Jesus the man died and his dead body disappeared – evaporated, or something. As Jesus did not have a soul or an intelligent spirit (they say), there was nothing of Jesus the man that continued to live in any form after he died. Jesus ceased to exist. His being (or soul, if you want to call it that) was annihilated. What JWs believe is that Jehovah re-created the spirit creature that had also ceased to exist in order for the Word of God to become the baby Jesus in Mary’s womb. So what we have are three creatures; two spirit beings and one human being, all created by Jehovah at three specific points in time. The latest re-creation is supposed to be Michael the Archangel, who existed prior to Jesus the man. Yet the JWs also teach that the resurrected spirit has attained a higher position and glory t
