Did Jesus make a blind man see?
Jesus, according to the Bible, did make a blind man be able to see. Though this was not proven, the Bible says it, but I don’t think I should tell you what or what not to believe, so you can figure this out for yourself. So, by biblical terms, yes, Jesus did indeed make a blind man see. You can take that into your own according, but since the Bible is to be taken literally, by “blind man” it means literally a blind man, as in they can’t see a thing visually. By “blind man see” it means that the once visually blind man was able to see visually. Hope that helps.
Much greater must have been the joys of Jesus when he was on earth. He alludes to himself as a physician, and part of his record in physical healing reads: “The blind are seeing again, and the lame are walking about, the lepers are being cleansed and the deaf are hearing, and the dead are being raised up, and the poor are having the good news declared to them.” Again, “Then great crowds approached him, having along with them people that were lame, crippled, blind, dumb, and many otherwise, and they fairly threw them at his feet, and he cured them; so that the crowd felt amazement as they saw the dumb speaking and the lame walking and the blind seeing, and they glorified the God of Israel.”—Matt. 11:5; 15:30, 31; Mark 2:17, NW. On one occasion Jesus cured ten lepers. Men cannot cure leprosy as Jesus did and without leaving its crippling effects. Jesus gave sight to a man born blind. Today’s doctors can make glasses but not eyes. They can provide hearing aids, but cannot restore the sens
This is a quite literal example of Jesus healing a blind man and it is very clear that this is not a spiritual blindness the rest of the chapter goes on to show a spiritual blindness healed as well so the distinction is clear that He did both. Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind John 9 (New International Version) 1As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3″Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. 4As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” 6Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7″Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. 8His neighbors and those who ha
