Jack did not make “Shelter”. Jack and Ben Harper make brief long-boarding appearances from when they were playing the Byron Bay Blues Festival in Australia in March 2001. The ‘Shelter’ Crew was near the Byron Bay filming the movie, and since Jack and Ben were close by, they stopped by one day and caught some waves. Jack’s manager Emmett Malloy, along with Taylor Steele, made the surf film “Shelter” in 2001.
