Did Illinois Governor Blagojevich get a fair trial?
The standard for impeachment is not the same as a criminal trial. He was impeached and removed from office according to the laws of the State of Illinois. His upcoming criminal trial will be another story. He will have the opportunity to defend himself, subpoena witnesses, etc. Then all of the cats will be let out of the bags, from both sides. Can’t wait to see how that plays out and who will be implicated or exonerated.
