Did Holy Prophet of Islam peace be on him liked Poetry?
Dear Surely Holy Prophet of Islam Muhammad Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam liked Poetry. One of his followers Sahabi Hazrat Hassan bin Thabit Allah be pleased with him was a poet and he used to recite poetry in praise of Holy prophet peace be on him and he used to recite the poetry right in Masjid of Madina on the pulpit Minbar, by the permission of holy prophet peace be on him. (ref: Mushkat Shaerief book 2) It is also said that Hazrat Ka’b bin Zubair Allah be pleased with him embraced Islam and presented a poetry in praise of Holy Prophet and he awarded him with his Burda shoulder cloth. This sacred cloth remained in his family untill Amir Muawiya purchased it from his children after Ka’b passing away and kept it as a valuable piece of sanctity.
