Did governments consult other First Nations whose interests may have been affected by the Tsawwassen First Nation Final Agreement?

0

Treaty negotiators conducted extensive consultations with more than 50 area First Nations whose interests may be affected by the TFN FA. Any issues raised by the majority have been addressed. As well, TFN has concluded protocols and shared territory agreements with several First Nations. We do not believe that asserted rights and title of other First Nations will be adversely affected by the Tsawwassen First Nation Final Agreement. Should new information arise in the future, there are provisions in the treaty to address adverse effects on the rights of other First Nations.
