I believe so. They said: “Not even God can sink this ship”. Nobody can defiance God without provoking His anger. And they had to suffer the consequences.

I doubt God much cares what a bunch of stupid newspapermen say. The Titanic was simply a victim of an insufficiently advanced technology coupled with amazing arrogance.

When people called it “Unsinkable” they were basically saying there was nothing left to improve on it. I think that belief is what sank The Titanic.
