Did George Washington Carver have a wife and kids?
George Washington Carver never married nor did he have any children. He lived alone in a dormitory at Tuskegee Institute in Alabama until his passing January 5th, 1943. He died a few days after taking a fall down the stairs of his home. He left his entire life savings of $60,000 to the Carver Museum and he George Washington Carver Foundation. He is buried next to Booker T. Washington at Tuskegee University.
