Did George II have any arguments with parliament?

0

From my understanding, George II did not argue with Parliament in the same manner Charles I would have. George II spent more time arguing with his father than he argued with Parliament. For this reason, when George became king he already had an instant dislike of his father’s minister Robert Walpole, but Caroline, George’s wife to whom he was very much dedicated, convinced her husband to allow Walpole to remain in his position within the Cabinet. Walpole helped create a system where power shifted firmly in favor of Parliament and the King relied heavily upon his ministers.
