Did Ehret write an autobiography as some claim?
According to Fred Hirsch, Ehret did not write or dictate an autobiography. A fact that causes doubt that a supposed book is an autobiography is that Ehret was a writer. Why would he need a “ghost” to write for him? Fred did not have any knowledge of Ehret every dictating a book on his life to anyone. It appears that the book is fiction.
