He was dressed as the backup quarterback but did not get into the game (Super Bowl XXXVI) . He did play the second half of the 2001 AFC championship game against the Steelers, replacing Tom Brady who had suffered a minor knee injury, and went 10 for 21 for 102 yards and 1 TD.
