Did David or Maddie ever try to change for each other?
In the second season episode, “My Fair David”, Maddie persuades David to “grow up” when she finds him limboing with the staff. Although David tries, he doesn’t become the full fledged businessman that Maddie dreamed of. In the third season episodes, “Symphony in Knocked Flat”, and “A Trip to the Moon” David also tries to “clean up” so that Maddie will be impressed by him on their dates.
