Did Crowley violate Gates 4th Amendment Constitutional Rights?
This thread is especially dedicated to the cops here in the R&P who believed that Crowley was doing his job properly, and Gates deserved what he got. While it is never a surprise to see cops stand up for and defend one another, it is and should be jarring when cops don’t even know (or maybe don’t care about) the LAW they have sworn to serve under and enforce. This thread is in no way a smear on all cops, as there are plenty of good ones out there who know their jobs and do them honorably. It’s a pity that they have to put up with the bad ones who always make headlines. Maybe new policies will be put in place to help weed the bad cops out.
