Did civil rights protests ever come as far north as Wisconsin?
Hats off to UW-Green Bay’s Black Student Union for asking the question, and then answering it with repeat showings of the film “Through One City’s Eyes” over the next several weeks. The city is Milwaukee, and the one-hour documentary tells the story of African-Americans, Father Groppi and fair housing in the 1960s.
