HADLEY, Mass. (UPI) — Lawyers for two teens accused of bullying a Massachusetts high school student who hanged herself said records will show she had two previous suicide attempts. The lawyers for Flannery Mullins and Sharon Chanon Velazquez, both 17, asked a Franklin-Hampshire Juvenile Court to order the release of private records from hospitals, clinics and South Hadley public schools for Phoebe Prince, the Boston Globe reported. Prince, a 15-year-old freshman, hanged herself in her family’s Hadley, Mass., apartment Jan. 14 after continuous harassment by schoolmates, prosecutors say.
