Did Bruce Lee do sprints or jogging?
The answer is, Bruce Lee did it all. He was way ahead of his time, doing so many different kinds of exercises that he seemed like a bit of a freak in his day, but his legendary workouts are similar to those done by world class athletes today. He did not train to look good. He trained for function. Everything he did was meant to improve his martial arts. If it didn’t translate into his art, he threw it away. Lee was about a five mile a day guy. He normally ran somewhere between 7 to 9 minute miles, but it wasn’t just straight running mos of the time. He would often mix up his runs with backward running, running while shadow boxing, head movement and side to side shuffling. He would do sprint/walk drills. Here’s an incomplete list of stuff he did on top of all his running. he usually did this in circuits, like 3 minutes on , one minutes rest.
