Did Astropop 3 form the Planting Seeds Records label?
A. Although it was erroneously mentioned in several reviews, Astropop 3 did not form the label. What they did do was help solidify its foundation, whose roots can be traced back as early as 1996. Planting Seeds Records was officially formed by principal members of Sunday Smoke Kit in 1998. The label’s namesake was taken from a track off of their inaugural release, The Hardest Things Are Often The Simplest To Unwind, which, not surprisingly, is also the first entry of the Planting Seeds Records catalog.
