The development of the iBOs was motivated by ASI’s desire to empower its Authorized iMIS Solution Providers (AiSPs) to develop innovative solutions that extend the scope of iMIS and take advantage of a newly open and “extensible” architecture. ISG went through a thorough certification program administered by ASI in order to be authorized to build iBO-based solutions.
