Did Apple Drop The Ball At The Final Macworld Showcase?
Washington (dbTechno) – Many are claiming that Apple dropped the ball at its final Macworld as they failed to announce any big new products. Is this true, or is this nothing but smoke and mirrors to some truly great stuff? Apple announced some new products and such at their Macworld keynote address on Tuesday. Among the big announcements was the slimmest 17-inch MacBook Pro to date, as well as a DRM-free iTunes, and the ability to purchase songs off of iTunes over-the-air on an iPhone 3G. Apple was clearly lagging in the Macworld keynote address though as there was no Steve Jobs showcasing the new products, and nothing really groundbreaking, such as an iPhone Nano. Instead, Apple stayed the course with what they had, and announced a few new revisions such as the MacBook Pro and cheaper prices on iTunes. Following the keynote, Apple shares fell by 0.7%, showing that many were not impressed. With this being the final Macworld, it seems that Apple will not go out with a bang after all at
