Did anyone workout how Derren Brown picked out the lotto numbers last night.?
It is a deception based on a split screen. If you have the show recorded, then you can see the deception. Whilst Derren Brown is writing out the numbers after the draw, the screen suddenly stops “shaking” for a second. It is just before this time that you can see the end ball (number 39 when the stand is turned round to see his “prediction”) very slightly rises as the two screens are merged together after the illusion. You will see that the number 39 ball sits very slightly above the others due to its fit in the tray on top of the stand. The balls previous to the “switch” sit all at even heights with the tops all level. Keep your eye on the ball on the left (before the stand is turned round) while he is writing down the numbers to give the hidden assistant time to finish placing the correct balls in the tray to see this happen. The movement is very small. You’ll need to keep your eyes peeled!
