Did anyone had scoliosis and went to a chiropractor?
You need to see a spine specialist, either neurosurgeon or an orthopedic surgeon. I don’t trust chiropractors. I had my back manipulated twice, it always hurt worse after they were done with it. As a nurse, I’ve also cared for a few patients who required surgery after seeing a chiropractor because the chiropractor actually caused nerve damage. There is no cure for scoliosis. Treatment is based on the degree of and likelihood of it worsening. Physical therapy, massage, core strengthening exercises, and yoga can strengthen back muscles and improve or alleviate pain. Cold packs and heat pack are helpful for some (my mom likes heat, I like cold).
