They say that if you have sex a few days before ovulation you will most likely conceive a girl as they male sperm are fast but burn out their energy before the egg is released whereas the female are slower and it gives them tha extra boost in getting to the egg on ovulation. If you have sex on ovulation day or within the 24hr it is viable for then you will most likely have a boy as they are faster swimmers and should reach the egg faster than the females just in time.
