Yes, each Monkee earned production credits on individual tracks. They did it all – each wrote, each sang, each played instruments and each produced. The stigma of not being a band heavily involved with its own music came from Kirschner’s reign, when they were not allowed to become involved. During that time, (the first two albums,) only Peter has a guitar credit and only Mike has writing and production credits.
