I am afraid I would have to disagree with that assessment, Bob. Greece’s problem is only her own and her very own doing. It was just time for the reckoning bell to ring. Her very generous compensation to members of her government, bonuses and early retirement packages for its civil servants isn’t something concocted or invented. I have even heard of some bonuses being paid to government workers just so they would come in on time, early retirement packages being offered to “civil servants” upon reaching 42 years and other outrageous things which are just coming out. Many Greeks work on the grey market and pay no income tax, and that is a pretty well-known fact. So it’s about time Helene cleans her house and put it in order. And there are thousands of petti-fogging things that are just coming out from the house of Helene that really needs to be investigated.
