Did all stations end analog broadcast on June 12, 2009?
Federal law required all “full power” stations to turn off their analog broadcast on or before June 12, 2009. This requirement did not include “low power” stations such as: • “Low-power” or “community” stations of very restricted range (LPTV) • “Class A” stations • “Translator” and “booster” stations At present, these stations are still permitted to broadcast in analog after June 12, 2009.
