Did Albert Fisher really make the first car for Henry Ford?

Fisher was a coach builder. My guess is that while Ford (or at least his workers) likely built the drive train, engine, frame, etc., he would have needed the help of a coach builder to put together the body and therefore complete something you could actually call a car. So without any absolute authority on the subject, this is probably a half-true story. Today, Fisher Body is a division of GM that does the bodywork for most GM cars and has been a part of GM for at least the last 80 years. Prior to GM buying Fisher out, it would make sense that he sub-contracted body work for other manufactures.
