Sorry, I had no other way to post this since for some reason comments are not posting for me again. to spunt: Al Gore was not the downfall of the democratic party. The democratic party is going downhill because many democrats ran to Canada after Bush was elected cause they didn’t want to be under his rule. Plus, Kerry was too wishy washy to be a good leader. So I will give you that the democratic party is not doing a very good job at finding candidates. Also, Bill Clinton didn’t just sit on his ass, have sex with an intern, and twiddle his thumbs. Here, I am going to list some of the accomplishments. 1. Before Clinton was in office, the United States was in record deficit, $290 billion. Due to the Clinton Administration, the United States had a surplus by the year 2000.
