Did adam and eve really do something bad in the garden of eden?
The only reason Adam and Eve didn’t know what sin was, was the fact that sin had not yet come into existence. Other than that, they probably had more knowledge than we do. They got to see God, and talk to him, and hear his voice. They probably knew a lot about the animal, the plants, and the rest of the world. More than scientists ever will. Just because they didn’t know about something that didn’t exist doesn’t mean they had the knowledge of a 2 year old. They had free will, otherwise how would they have chosen to eat the fruit? Okay, now to answer your question: Yes, they did something wrong. They disobeyed God. That was it. God told them “Do not do this or you will die.” They disobeyed, and thus sinned. They knew God created them and the entire world, isn’t that enough to know that he is to be trusted?
