Did Adam and Eve have to work the garden of Eden?Or they just enjoyed?
Earth was already created before in a previous attempt, but the Earth was void and full of water… so God grabbed it and started to create it anew, but this time with all the trimmings like the rest of the universe, the Sun, the Moon, and so on… Everything that God created “was good, very good!” But soon after creation God had to deal with all kinds of glitches. God created man to till a garden that he planted in the region of Babylon-today’s Iraq. Adam was created in God’s own image… MALE! It was in that image that Adam was very much focused in finding a help meet or mate for himself among ALL THE ANIMALS that God created. Both of them were looking hard for a suitable animal while Adam was branding them a name. Adam must have tried a submissive sheep and who knows how many other animals. Finally God admits a glitch in his creation repeating to himself that his original “very good” idea about creating man alone is “no good” after all (Gen 2:18-20)! It reminds me of George W Bush’s
