Did a 1926 U.S. Silver Dollar Espouse Creation Versus Evolution?
Islands and his subsequent book “Origin of The Species,” proffering his theory of evolution. The ship plys the Pacific waters some 300 miles off the Ecuador mainland. Some people (usually coin collectors) they say, have mentioned a connection to the 1926 U.S. Peace Silver Dollar with ‘God’ in bold. As a lifelong collector myself, I found this particularly interesting and have since investigated it further.
