It scares me that this scares you, and that you could possibly wind up representing actual clients some day. The malpractice quip is a little off base because of course this isn’t a lawyer-client relationship, but Caron’s comment is well taken, in as much as students expect the school to do whatever it can for them, in return for the gigantic amount of money they pay to attend. “Right and wrong” don’t even enter into it. It’s about the duty you assume and understanding the consequences of your actions.
