Detroit Police accidentally shot and killed 7 year old girl named Ayana Jones. It happened in the 4000 block of Lillibridge just before 1:00 am this morning. According to Detroit Police, officers went to the house to arrest a murder suspect. They used a stun grenade to get inside the home. There were several people inside, including that young girl. She was sleeping on the couch. One of the officer’s guns went off, fatally wounded the girl. Right now the investigation is still ongoing… but a police spokesperson says it was accidental. The murder suspect was arrested.
