Deep Dish Pizza in NY – Does it exist??
Jeffrey “You may have to age but do not have to mature” K. says: I enjoy pizza. I do not discriminate deep dish pizza just because it does not have it’s origins in New York. I enjoy both New York style and Chicago style, but considering we are not within a reasonable driving distance to the Windy City, and I occasionally find myself in the mood for a good deep dish pie . . . and usually resort to Uno’s for one when I need it — I want to know if there are any other places around town that might be worth considering for the Deep Dish variety of pizza pie. All-in-all Uno’s is not bad (they used to be better though), and they are supposedly authentic, but I know there are various takes on deep dish pizza that I’d like to try at some point.
